For the hospice volunteer prospect, training times and locations aren't always convenient.
Online training provides the convenience and technology to begin training immediately.
*Please note that after 90 days of inactivity, a site will be deactivated unless the agency requests an extension. An extension is granted based on a case by case basis relative to prior activity. Deactivation applies for Basic and Premium listings.
Basic Listing: The hospice agency is listed on Hospice Volunteer Training Online's site along with the name of Volunteer Coordinator. The course is the 11 module course however the certificate of completion will have the heading "Hospice Volunteer Training Online". The agency will not have access to monitor or provide feedback. There is no agency access to the certificate however the volunteer is able to print their own certificate to submit to the agency in order to verify proof of training. Certificates are not issued until all courses are completed and the final essays graded by HVTO.
Premium Listing: The hospice agency is listed in bold print along with the name of
the Volunteer Coordinator. In addition to the listing on the site, the premium listing provides the following:
